New clients search out theEword

Search marketing agency theEword has bravely overcome its understandable heartbreak at being edged out for an EN award by winning a clutch of new clients.

The Manchester-based company, which runs B2B and consumer-focused pay per click (PPC), search engine optimisation (SEO) and mobile search campaigns, has wooed a number of businesses across the property, professional services, healthcare, employment and transport sectors.

They include UK accommodation specialist First Step, which has invited theEword to develop and manage its PPC strategy.

The agency has also been hired to add polish to the SEO campaigns of law firm Ralli Solicitors, care home provider Meridian Healthcare, recruitment consultancy ePeople and System One Travelcards, the UK's largest integrated multi-operator ticketing scheme.

In another coup, theEword has been appointed by Germany-based skincare specialist Dr Hauschka to run its consumer-facing marketing.

Managing director, Al Mackin (pictured), said, "The last few months have been an exciting period for theEword, with our staff helping to make this the busiest quarter in our history.

"We've taken on board new clients across a range of industries and it's wonderful to see companies in different business sectors putting their trust in our services."
