The Business College - Tameside

Tameside College has established an enviable reputation in Greater Manchester for delivering a range of high quality training solutions to the business community.

In recognition of the services that the College provides, it was recently awarded the Training Quality Standard; a national ward which has been introduced to make it easier for businesses to select a training provider. The award shows that the College has a proven track record for delivering business improvements through human resource development.

There are a wide range of training opportunities available through the College, mostly delivered in the workplace and in some instances with the support of Government subsidies. Train to Gain funding is available for training programmes through Tameside College in a number of areas including:

* Customer Service
* Information Technology
* Management & Team Leader
* Business Improvement Techniques for Manufacturing
* Distribution & Warehousing
* Driving Goods Vehicles
* Health & Social Care
* Cleaning & Support Services

In addition to the funded training available through Train to Gain, Tameside College provides a holistic approach to training consultancy services for clients. A training needs analysis service is provided to business partners, along with health and safety advice, customised training solutions and business performance measures.

His weekly, “Thank Frank it’s Friday” email missives, “Frankie Says” blog and Tarantino-inspired advertisements are cases in point.
