Commenting on the June inflation figures published today by the ONS, which showed a falling back in the annual rate of the Consumer Prices Index from 3.4 per cent to 3.2 per cent compared to May, David Kern, chief economist at the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC), expressed concern for future inflation but warned against raising interest rates.
